To stop the moment...- Contest entry

I draw her OC- Sander with my Falka. 

Here's the story, how they met

Falka fas flying around for a long time. She was tired, hungry and lost- she couldn't find way home. 

After few hours, when the sun was sentting down, she decided to take a rest near little waterfall.

In the same time, young lion was hanging around. He just went for a walk. 

He was walking, and walking and walking, and suddenly he stopped. He blinked few times, and his eyes became HUGE.

Why?

He saw something, or no... He saw someone few metres before him. It was young lioness, but not just a lioness... She had wings.

Sander watched her from concealment for a moment. After short time, he decided to he decided to get to know strange girl, so he made one, slow step. And than another one, and next one.

When lion was very close to her, the tiny stick broke under his paw.

The female violently raised its head and saw the stranger. Usually, when could see strangers then as soon as possible escaped, but now didn't simply have enough strength...

And there was someething different in this young lion.

And that was when they met for the first time At first, Falka didn't want to talk. She was distrustful. But Sander didn't give up and finnaly they broke first ice

They went for a walk. Loooong walk... I mean veeery loong walk. 

When the moon rised, Falka sighed and said 

"It was realy nice to meet you, but it's already dark, and I must go home." When Sander wanted to say something, she interrupted him. "Listen. I'm almost sure that we won't meet anymore, but I had great time with you. So... Goodbye, Sander."she spread her wings, gearing up for the flight, when suddenly the lion stopped her.

"No Falka, wait! Please!" He said "Don't go, please..." Than, he got an idea. "Let me show you something, Falka. Follow me"

Lioness was suprised, but she went after him. 

After few minutes they were standing on a huge meadow. Falka looked at the sky and sighted. She newer saw so meny stars before?

Sander stood up by her, smiling. "Do you like it?"- he asked.

"Are you kidding me? This is amazing!"- She reply. 

They spend few hours at laugh and play. Tired, they lay down on the grass and started observing stars. They were talking and talking and talking...

Sander overlooked, when of Falka fell asleep leaning against his back, but when he saw it, he felt some king of warm in his heart. 

He wanted this moment to last forever...
